THEME: A collection of pieces inspired by the numerous hours we spend waiting at a traffic light. The waiting takes your imagination to different places, and you tend to observe the sights around you more closely. The sights that stood out and stuck with me, were those of the cotton candy men, who’d run to you the moment the light turns red eager to empty their sticks of all those pink fluffy bags of sweet sticky candy. The stray balloon, stuck in a tree having been let go off by a restless child. Balloons tend to bring simple happiness to people, one that is almost unexplainable.
